We look at our clients' physical and cognitive health, mental and emotional health, environmental health, financial health, occupational and social health, and intellectual and spiritual health to identify areas of strengths and weaknesses, and to pinpoint where services and referrals are needed.
Medicare Counseling
Midsouth Aging Consultant provides unbiased professional analysis of your current Medicare plans to determine whether or not your insurance is working for you, and whether or not you may qualify for Medicare Savings Plans, Low Income Subsidies, or Special Needs Plans.
Downsizing & Hoarding
If you or your loved one is moving from a large home into a smaller apartment and needs to downsize and organize, or if the living situation has become unsafe due to hoarding issues, we can help you determine what to keep and what not to keep, all while maintaining our clients' dignity and emotional health intact.
Alzheimer's & Dementia Care Training
Midsouth Aging Consultant has several years of experience in working with those who have Alzheimer's and dementia, and is a Certified Dementia Practitioner. We can help train family members on how to communicate with and care for their loved ones in a manner that makes things easier for everyone involved, as well as provide education and resources to prevent caregiver burnout. We can also help our clients make informed decisions regarding adult daycare, memory care facilities, respite care, palliative care, hospice and home care. Additionally we can train organizations that work with the public on how to recognize signs of dementia and how to respond appropriately.

Midsouth Aging Consultant can provide our clients with resources and referrals for meal delivery, transportation, home modifications, home care and homemaker services, and daily living aids.
